In law's visiting

My husband and I are due in may with our first. We live in a two bedroom townhouse in Florida while the rest of our family lives in NY. My in laws want to be down here when the baby is born. For starters they will be staying with us. I know I won't have to cater to them but that's just unnecessary people in the house. Second I'm not sure if I want to have to deal with them immediately after giving birth. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be sore and emotional after this kid is born lol. Am I wrong for not wanting them here right away?
