Nope. Could turn it on I guess but pumping before hand can lead to contractions so I haven't touched it since I unpacked it

Testing mean using it for less than a minute to see if shields fit, testing for air leaks, and making sure it is functioning well. One minute on breasts will not cause any damage or serious contractions. Think about the moms that breastfeed while pregnant. Nipple stimulation to try and cause labor is some intense stuff basically massaging the nipple itself between you thumb and forefinger to almost the point of pain for five minutes straight. Stopping for 15 and doing the other one, alternate like that 4- 6 times 2-3 times a day so a minute or two on a pump won't hurt a thing

If your past a certain point, making sure doc oks it, it's perfectly safe to pump before baby! And in some cases is recommended! If done properly it won't induce labor! You might get a few very mild contractions but not true labor contractions! Do some research on it!!!!!!!

I pump when hurting and leaking and get about half an oz total.... it's all worth saving! Lol sometimes you still won't produce enough in the first 48 hours and baby will have to be supplemented, if you have colostrum pumped you can use that instead of having to instantly formula supplement.

But what would you be pumping? I though milk didn't usually come in until a couple days after you give birth? I know you have colstrum but do you produce enough to actually be able to pump any significant amount?
