trying to conceive for a while

I've been off of my implanon for 2 years (close to three in feb) I've been trying to conceive for a while now.. I had an abortion 6 years ago (12 weeks?) and they told me I would never get pregnant again... a terrible decision made on my part but now I am 25 and ready to start a family wondering if I could get any advice out there I hear miracle story's all the time which give me hope.. don't know if my next step is a fertility doc which are pretty expensive... I've heard of fertilaide wondering if that's ever worked for anyone out there... thanks!! Xoxo
