If the box says only take one you should only take one, too much of certain vitamins can make you sick. My vitamins call for 2 a day and I just take two both before bed so I never take double. With my first I would occasionally forever, so I probably took double sometimes, but to do it on a regular basis isn't good.

It is possible to get too much of some things in a prenatal, so you really should just follow the dosage instructions.

Don't take more than the recommend dose. You can OD on some of the vitamins in them, like vitamin A.

You can over do vitamins. Besides your body will only absorb so much and will eliminate the excess through urination. So either way it's pointless.

Honestly it's because I'm freaking myself out... friggin google has me thinking I have low progesterone and that's why I had my previous miscarriages and that it will cause me to have another one .. I don't get to see my doctor for a while so I wanted to see if taking twice the vitamins would help ...

Prenatal will have little to no effect in your progesterone levels. Call your doctor, tell them your worries because of a previous miscarriage and request they run a blood test. That's the only way to know if your progesterone is low.
