My husband and I had been trying for a few months and On November 6 I got my first positive ovulation test. The 7th was go time. Over the next week I got a few zits on my chin which my co worker pointed out as her first sign of pregnancy. My cat was all of a sudden obsessed with sitting in my stomach and that was new over that week. I googled that and people say pets can tell. Nov 16 we had a girls night and my back hurt driving even a short distance to get Ian and Kierra from day care. I peed like 4 times and no one else even peed once. That night I had a dream that I finally had a positive pregnancy test. (I told Andy about my dream when I woke up the next morning) My back also hurt driving to my parents the next day. Nov 17 I went to a continuing education course with my mom and Myla. I told her on our way about my crazy dreams including the one where I finally got a positive pregnancy test. We ate at 5 guys after we checked in to the hotel and my soda that I had loved a month ago tasted awful... So awful I dumped out a diet caffeine free cherry coke and a diet caffeine free sprite. I thought something was wrong with the machine. I googled bad tasting soda = welcome to your first trimester. I had my Last glass of wine for a while laying in the hotel bed. Last night I was constipated. I've NEVER been constipated. In the morning (nov 18) I felt intermittent nausea and the tired that comes with a hangover, luckily not the other symptoms :) I had 2 real coffees....(My last caffeine) That day I also had intermittent nausea, but I didn't really feel like I'd actually puke. I felt nauseated again tonight after class. I was very hesitant to take a pregnancy test because Andy was out of town hunting, but I was nauseated throughout the day and feeling very anxious. I thought that's why I had diarrhea... Google says diarrhea and anxiety are also symptoms likely experienced in the first trimester. I was experiencing so much anxiety, that sometimes just comes with my period, and I figured taking a test would ease my mind and make my anxiety go away. I went to Walgreens on my way home from Chipotle and shoved a pregnancy test in my purse. I peed in a hotel cup, took the test and hopped in the shower. Then my heart started pounding like it never has. I couldn't see the test from the shower so I moved it onto the toilet seat. I shampooed my hair and I prayed. I peeked out and almost fell right out of the shower. (+) yes. Looking back those symptoms could have meant a lot of things... But I'm so glad God answered my prayer. <3 I can't wait to see Andy!! This thanksgiving will be so special. Thank you Jesus for making our miracle.
