I love Laurel.  There's a book series called Wings by Aprilynne Pike and Laurel is he main character.  Not a big fan of Rowan.  That's Mr. Bean's name.

I'm in love with the name Rowan for either gender. But the name laurel.. Sweet Jesus. I keep seeing it and all I can think of when I see it is Laurel and Hardy. I hate it so much lol but literally nobody in her generation will have any idea who they are. I'm 21 I shouldn't know who they are but my grandma always put on one of their movies when I was a kid. On a more relevant note, I would just put some thought into the potential nicknames for these names. If none of them bother you, go for it!!

Not really into Rowan, seems to be very popular lately but I just can't get into it. But if you like it then go for it!! Laurel on the other hand, I love so much! SO vetoed it for our little girl though.
