Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
I just came home from the doctor and was diagnosed to have polycystic ovarian syndrome (pcos). The doctor prescribed Orlistat and she also told me that I need to lose weight in, she told wrote down NO CARBS, NO FATS, veggies and fruits only in order to reverse my case.
I'm just wondering why she told me I have POLYCYSTIC ovarian syndrome when the result of my ultrasound only says ovarian CYST (so it means that it's not multiple). I'm sorry, I hope you understand what I meant there.
I am new to this. I hope I can get some advice. Thank you! :)
