How long does the engorgement last?

Have you been hand expressing to help? I was engorged days 3-5 and I would hand express often. Day 6 I had little engorgement.

It was about a full 2 weeks before I fully felt relief....hang in there it will get better I promise

What are you doing to help yourself out? A hot moist compress (like a wet towel) can be very soothing and help with the swollen tissue. My engorgement went away after day 7, though I still get really full it isn't so painful (and I have slight oversupply now). Best of luck!

Are you trying to dry up your milk or establish milk supply?

I wore a snug sports bra daily and placed cool cabbage leaves in the bra....this was suggested by the post partum nurse

I'm 9.5 Months  in and weaning off. I'll let you know when I'm no longer engorged. 😋
