single mom nurses, I need advice!
I need suggestions/advice. I am a registered nurse used to working my butt off and making good money doing so. Now that I am about to be a single mother, all that money seems like it will have to go to childcare just so I can work! Daycares are only open business hours, that doesn't accommodate 12 hour shifts/nights/weekends/holidays.... all the times I'm used to working!
Obviously, with a baby things are about to change dramatically, but how did you do it? Did you adjust shifts or how did you have your child taken care of while you worked?
I am doing this all on my own. My own time and my own money, I do not have help or support, so any suggestion is welcome. I need advice from the women who have been there! I know I'm not the only one.... right??
