Tell me your out of the blue labor stories!

I know I have to be patient but give a girl some hope, tell me your out of the blue labor stories!

I'm 41 weeks tomorrow and I have no signs at all... No water breaking or bloody show I only get Braxton Hick contractions when I walk briskly for a good amount of time and they stop if I sit down. Never get contractions while resting. Was 2cm dilated on Monday... Doc is checking again tomorrow. Besides being impatient I feel fine... But I feel like my body has had it so easy this pregnancy it doesn't know that it's time or that baby is so comfy she never wants to come out. I need a little light at the end of the tunnel knowing that labor could still happen all the sudden.

(As for trying to bring labor on... My husband and I tried EVERYTHING we could think of - short of trying every edible home remedy guru recipe - over the weekend I was due Friday to Monday last weekend... We walked anywhere from 7km to 14km every single day for 4 days straight. Tried sex a few times. I used the exercise ball. Went swimming. Had hot showers. Tried nipple stimulation, massage, pressure points. Even ate spicey food though I doubt it actually works. The doctor stretched my cervix on Monday and we walked some more. I've pretty well given up trying to bring it on...)
