Would you date someone knowing they have cheated on others?

I remember that one women on this forum who said  sometimes along the lines "you dont know what their relationship was like and why he cheated. your relationship is not like his past one. people change and learn from their mistakes." 
I absolutely agree with this. The relationship between you two isnt the same as the one he had before that resulted in him cheating. I would give him a chance.

I'm currently with someone who cheated on a girl in the past. He kissed another girl while he was with her, and she broke up with him so good for her for knowing her worth!! But she's still a bitch though bc oohh she tried stealing my friends boyfriend 😐
Anyways! I was really cautious when dating him and worried that he would do the same thing to me, but I've been with him for a year and a half now and everything's great! 
Now that was the ONLY time he ever cheated though, but if he cheated multiple times in each relationship he's had, then I don't think I would have gone out with him.

When did they cheat and what were the circumstances? I cheated on a boyfriend 15 years ago but have since been in three long term relationships with no cheating. I therefore don't consider the circumstances of that cheating as being a significant datapoint on my dating timeline. So, if someone has a similar story, it'd be rather hypocritical of me to consider them undateable.

In my experience...history repeats itself..i know men who never cheated and still dont..(and woman too)And the men who did any type of cheating continue to eventually cheat.I guess it would depend as we all are not perfect..but there is a type.

Definitely not. My old coworker would say he's 100% committed to his girlfriend and doesn't cheat, then he would tell stories about how he used to cheat on his ex with his current girlfriend and then he'd flirt with the younger coworkers (he was in his 30's) and always made comments about how my butt looked in the new work pants. Plus if a customer came in and she was attractive, he'd come to the back of the store after she left and say something like "I'd fuck her"

Typically no. I do know however that my husband cheated on his ex wife. But he told her straight away and told her he didn't want to be with her anymore as neither of them had been happy for a few years. (Shed also slept with a LOT of people while they were marries)
