breastfed baby poop

My almost 3 month old still poops 2-3 times a day. I thought they were supposed to slow down with that? Also it seems like she doesn't start pooping until she eats. And she gets all squirmy as she's trying to poop. It's really annoying because she then can't concentrate on taking a full feed and I end up having to basically nurse her again. Any tips/ideas/commiserations?
