So I was banking on having a boy... I did literally ALL of the old wives tale tests and they ALL led to boy. Now, save your breath because I KNOW that these aren't real... but I was really banking on a boy because I felt that God wouldn't give me something I couldn't handle and I really don't know how I'm going to handle a girl. I am a very emotional person and I don't feel like I'm strong enough to help a teenage girl handle hers 🙁 we found out this week that we are having a girl. I'm excited, but I'm also worried that I won't be good enough. I tried talking to one of my friends with girls who only told me "that's why you can't bank on having a boy..." 🙄 gee, thanks. I'm honestly not worried about when she's little, just when she gets older. How do you mom's foster good relationships with your pre-teen/teenage girls?? Any positive thoughts for me?
