Hi ladies! First time mom here! I am due on February 6th and husband wants to go on a fishing trip the weekend of January 6th 3 hours away. Is that cutting it to close to due day?! He would stay home if I insisted but with it being a month away, I want him to go if possible. Thoughts?! Thank you!! Xo

I would say 2 weeks from due date would be too close. I wouldn't have a problem with a month before. Especially if he's got cell service

It'll be fine. FTMs tend to go over their due date anyway.

Seems fine to me. Three hours isn't even that far away, will he have cell service and be in contact?

Even if you started having contractions he could easily get back in time for the birth.

The "rule" I made for my fiancé is that as long as I'm not experiencing any complications he can go his sledding trips, we aren't due till April but in March he usually has his last trip to mountains
