taking your kids to see Santa the first time?

how did they react? and how old were they
 my boyfriends parents took our daughter to see Santa today and she wasn't very enthusiastic it lol. she's 6 months old

I didn't take my daughter last year because I was pretty sure she would freak out (she was 7 months). So her daddy dressed up instead. She was very calm and kept playing with his beard. 😋

When I worked in childcare we had a Santa every year and 80% of the babies screamed the first time they saw him. Which I suppose is a good thing, you don't want your child happily going to a stranger.

My mom told her when she took my brother for the first time he was almost two and he was screaming his head off scared out of his mind so in order to take the picture she had to sit on santas lap and hold my brother to take the picture. She said for me I literally charged at Santa the first time meeting him and was more than happy enough to sit on his lap and say what I wanted. Lol your daughters picture is hilarious tho defiantly something she's gonna laugh at when she's older.

My baby will be 5 months next Christmas but it will depend on their personality if I'll take them to see mall Santa or grandpa Santa. ❤😂😂🎅👴👴🎅

I have a three year old and the last couple years my trick for cute santa photos has been taking her multiple times! We usually go see Santa two or three times before actually sitting down to take pictures with him, that way she is a little more comfortable with him and I'm not introducing her to someone completely new then expecting her to let that person hold her lol I don't push her if she doesn't want to, just talk Santa up and let her decide how the interaction is gona go!

When I have children we will skip the whole Santa phase because I am terrifed of people who dress up in costumes. Had a Santa at school and ended up hiding in my friends office for two hours.

My children would be raised to understand that santa is a myth.  I'm not gonna hurt my children with a lie.
