Scratched from fingering??!!

Is it possible for my boyfriend to scratch inside me while trying to finger me?? After sex (with foreplay) I almost always get a really bad feeling down there after we have sex. It's like I have to pee but painful and bad!! I can't figure out why!! My boyfriend bites his nail so his cuticles are a mess and his nails are short but jagged. Could he be scratching me and causing this feeling?? Please help!!!!!!!!!
