Got the nexplanon. It's been great so far. I had the Mirena before. My uterus took forever to get back in shape so I had to try something else. My baby is EBF and no supply issues or anything due to this bc.

I'm on the mini pill.. I had no breakthrough bleeding or spotting, my face has cleared up nicely and I lost a couple extra pounds. This is what my doctor recommended so my milk wouldn't dry up as I'm exclusively breastfeeding. Baby girl is 5 1/2 months and I've been on the pill since 8 weeks post partum. I personally have not had any negative side effects. Good luck!

Pre baby I used the Nuvaring and was really happy with it. Hardly any side effects and only have to remember it twice a month.

Nada 😬 I tried the mini pill and found a huge difference in my son (He's exclusively breastfed) so I stopped taking it.

Nothing. Still breastfeeding and have had my period since 2 months pp. definitely not trying to get pregnant but I've heard mixed things on the mini pill. Holding off unti I'm don't breastfeeding.

I'm on the mini pill. I did have bleeding for a couple days after I started it. No period yet and my LO is 5.5 months. It's fine. I don't have any noticeable side effects. The only thing is, I find it hard to remember to take it the same time every day.
