Should I call my dr?

I've had intense back pain for going on 5 hours now. It doesnt come and go. It's constant. I've tried ice, heat, massage, stretching, sitting on my birthing ball, but nothing helps. Should I be concerned? 37 weeks 6 days today.

I called and talked to a triage nurse and she said it sounded like baby was just laying in a way that was uncomfortable. She really wasn't much help. Thinking about calling back and speaking to whoever is on call for my dr

Yes could infection, or labor, or something else that's not serious (maybe baby dropping) but ether way I'd call.

Is the pain your whole lower back or just one side? I had a pain of one side and I was 37 weeks I went to the er and turns out I had a kidney stone.

I would call. This is how labor started with my first... Didn't even know I was having contractions.
