I was married for 2 1/2 years, separated for a year and finally divorced this past fall. The relationship was abusive. We have one child together. I've been living alone for over a year now and I might need some extra cash, especially around this season.

My parents don't want me to sell it because it is so unique looking, and my mom wants me to pass it on to my son.

I have the slightest bit of attachment to it for the fun times I had in my marriage. But not enough attachment to make the decision on my own.

I feel a tad weird giving it to my son when he's older because the marriage was abusive and it just feels wrong.

After I received this ring in the mail today, I felt I might regret selling this when I'm older.

I'm in a loving relationship now with the man of my dreams, I have no feelings what's so ever for the father of my child. That's why I feel so conflicted, because I have no feelings for the ex but the ring is so unique and idk if I want to keep it as a souvenir.
