Taking a moment to unwind from this hectic day, only to get undressed and look at myself to realize that I'm growing this precious human inside of me. That I'm carrying my child who is one day going to be something in this world. That inside my belly is a tiny human that the person I love and I created. Life passes by so fast that I haven't taken a second to realize the miracle inside of me. That she has a hair color already, an eye color, she has taste buds, and fingernails, she has tiny fingers and tiny toes. The question of if she has Nic's nose, or my lips. That this 40 weeks of pregnancy only has 12 weeks and 5 days left of it. There's a little baby inside my belly, and that baby is going to make me a mother. She's going to change the person who I thought I was and turn me into someone who I never thought I could be.
