losing hope

Well I just finished round 2 of 100mg clomid, days 4-8. Last round I ovulated on day 29 of my 45 day cycle. We had sex the night before I ovulated, but were unable to the day I actually ovulated. I'm losing hope that I will actually be able to see a positive pregnancy test. My doctor is letting me try clomid for 3 cycles and then going to start performing tests if it doesn't work and possibly refer me to a fertility specialist.
