was your pregnancy/labor anything like your moms?

So far my pregnancy has gone exactly how my moms went when she was pregnant with me. It's really weird. She was in slow labor for days before she had me. So far it's looking the same to me. I've been in slow labor for about a week now. So I'm hoping baby is here within the next week. I just think it's really strange that my pregnancy is mocking hers

What do you mean by slow labor.. I thought I was having slow labor but now I'm not sure :(

I would say no, but I think circumstances were pretty different. With me, my mom kept being told that she wasn't ready yet and contractions would be stopped (we still haven't figured out why, other than the doctor just didn't know what he was doing). When they finally let her labor, she ended up pushing for 3 hours and had to have an emergency C-section. I was born over a month later than my initial due date.

When I had my daughter, my contractions started and it was true labor. Daughter was born after 17 hours, including 25 mins of pushing.

Nope. Completely different. Hers was 30+ hrs and mine was 9hrs. Actually mine didn't go like any of my female family members. Definitely had the shortest and didn't go as many days past due.

Not at all!! Lol... She had a picture perfect, easy as can be pregnancy and delivery. Mine? Complete opposite!
