when does baby's learn how to crawl

Okay my baby girl  will be 6 months this 20th .. she's moving like crazy but not yet learned how to crawl.. she loves moving her legs like crazy on her stomach. Yes I'm a first time mom .. I'm just curious when they start to learn

depends on your child my oldest crawled at 6 month then walked at 9 months . then my second one crawled at 7 month didn't walk till was 12 months. My 3rd daughter that 6 month all she does is trying to crawl she puts her legs under her but only scoots around then this week tried to raise up to stand by grabbing on to a chair then she stood up for a moment and sat down ,  the doctor said not worry she is alright i was kind of worried cause my other two never did that he said some babies skip crawling all together go to walking but he said If you want to encourage your child to crawl , place your baby on stomach for a few minutes at a time can help develop arm strength. Sit in front of her or place a toy in his path to encourage her to move forward.  If that don't work just go with her standing see how it goes from there.

My son started to crawl the day he turned 5 months. We were not ready for it. We had to rearrange the room to block power outlets and anything life threatening. He is quite fast now. Although I'm happy to see my baby growing,  I wish he took it a bit slow!

My daughter is 6 months on the 16th and I'm still waiting for her to be able to sit on her own. If she's in her bouncer she sits up in that

Every baby is different. Mine right now sits up so good but no signs of crawling she moves around on the floor on her back. My first didn't crawl till 11 months but I know this one will be way ahead of it sister. It could be soon or could be in a couple more months. 😊

My oldest crawled at 7 months.  My middle child I thought was never going to crawl, she was around 9 months.

I've read around 7-8 months is the average time frame? My friends baby crawled at 9 months, and my daughter is on the verge now at almost 6 months.
