In 2001 and 2011 I was blessed with healthy beautiful baby boys. Ethan is almost 16 and Harrison is 5 now.
My husband and I decided in 2014 to have another child; to our surprise, God blessed us with identical twin boys. The boys developed Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome and at 24 weeks gestation the complications overcame them and they went to Heaven on October 27 & 29. Christian and Steven comfortably rest in God's arms.
I thought my world had ended but Jesus Christ is faithful and through prayer, time and lots of wonderful support, my husband and I have experienced peace only Christ can provide.
We began trying to conceive again in July of 2015. A whole year went by before we finally had a positive pregnancy test, but we miscarried just a few weeks into the pregnancy.
With the understanding that miscarriage is common, we looked to the future and got pregnant again in September 2016.
Miscarriage. Again. Just a few weeks in.
I have Hashimotos Disease and that increases my risk for miscarriage. I was assured that I was doing everything I could to take care of my health.
Now here it is December 2016 and I have another positive test. My heart is lifted to the Lord, Thy will be done.
Trying to conceive after loss is not for the faint of heart. My mind swirls with so many questions and fears.
I will continue to lean on the rock of my salvation and pray those big prayers that I will have a baby in 9 healthy months.
