Scared of the judgement..
So bit of a backstory first, my boyfriend and I have been together for 2 and a half years. We are so happy and we are so sure that we're meant to be together. We've talked about getting engaged and married very soon, and we've already decided that we want to elope to get married because that's what makes the most sense for us. However, we aren't even engaged yet! I do know it's gonna happen soon though and we want to elope in February. The problem is, most of our friends are all engaged. Only about 2 couples have an actual date set, and even those aren't until summer 2018. We feel like maybe were missing proper etiquette of waiting until everyone else gets married first since they're all engaged first? Since we don't have a wedding to plan we don't see the point in waiting! We also plan on ttc in January so I'm scared people will judge and think we only got married because (wishful thinking) I may be pregnant when we do marry. I know I shouldn't care but I guess it's just the way I am. Any advice?
