Who wrote the thank you notes for gifts that you received from your shower?

If it's a coed shower then you both could do it but if it was ladies only then you should do it. It took me a couple months to get mine out but I still handwrote them all a personal card and referenced the gift they got for baby specifically. I think it's nicer and means more than just verbally thanking them.

I will be writing the notes because my husband is deployed but I probably would do them myself anyway because he works all day and I don't so it's the least I can do.

I wrote them and some I included some maternity photos mostly to my family though.
