sex 4 weeks after birth?

JUST CURIOUS! Has anyone gotten an ok from their divot or to have sex 4 weeks after birth/ has anyone had sex 4 weeks after birth? A friend of mine said she did and I'm just curious, I was told by most they had to wait 6 weeks?

I had sex 2 weeks after birth. My doctor gave me the okay at 3 weeks. I had stopped bleeding, so that's why he said it was fine. I stopped bleeding after a week. I also never had to get stitches.

I had sex 2.5 weeks after birth. Once you've completely stopped bleeding the wound from the placenta has healed and there is no longer a risk of infection. You can be super fertile after birth especially if you arnt breastfeeding so use protection if your not ready for another Bub

Seems like it's one of those things that happens as a teenager someone tells u no and u want to do it so bad lol. I never could wait 6 wks I always went when I felt comfortable with it and my husband would be careful and listen good. Most of my births it was around 14 days
