I heard dreaming of your ex means they are thinking about you? Is this true? Do dreams mean something or are they just random? What are your thoughts..

I think dreams can mean something. But if anything I'd say if you're dreaming of your ex it means you're thinking about him or her and not the other way around.

Depends on what theories you want to base it off. Freud put significant emphasis on dreams that they are an out look of your subconscious. Many people still believe in his theories. 
For me I know I dream about what's on my mind... like what I did that day, what I'm looking forward too. Occasionally they are nonsense dreams that don't make sense. But for the most part I know where they came from. When I'm pregnant my dreams are so vivid I wake up and have to think did that actually happen.
