Sick or mastitis???

breastfeeding mommies. My two older girls were sick this week. High fever, chills, sore throat. Unfortunately, here I am all the same symptoms except my breasts are a little sore. Not sure if I should worry about mastitis and call the doc.

It could be a clogged duct, I thought I had mastitis too. I got a fever and chills and my right Breast was sore with a lump. With pumping and massaging it, it finally went away

You'd know if it was mastitis. Your boob(s) would be hard, red, super painful, and possibly gunk coming out. At least that's what happened to me. A little sore and mastitis are not the same thing.

If you have sore throat I'd say sick. I had fever chills sore body headache but no other symptoms like sore throat or cough

When I had mastitis there was a painful lump and it was red around the area. It was excruciating to touch. But it doesn't hurt to call just to make sure so you can try and catch it early if you do have it.
