antibiotics??

So I have tonsillitis. I ebf and am still doing so but I don't know whether to go get antibiotics on Monday or just ride it out and continue to self medicate with painkillers and homeopathic remedies. Last time I had to have antibiotics while breastfeeding it gave my little man the worst diahorrea and I don't want to upset him if it's likely to get better with little intervention? I should mention I was sceptic at delivery so do t know if this may affect me and my little one?
