how to hide a cat?
I'm probably going to get hate for this.
We rent a house, we were told we could have an animal and suddenly they changed their mind, after we picked one out and got ready for a dog. Animals are my comfort, they help me deal with stress, depression, anxiety, etc. (I know some people don't understand that)
I got a baby kitten about 2 years ago, when we moved out, we promised my mom we would take her. She does not shed, she's fixed, and she doesnt meow. She's also really small. My mom has decided that if we cant take her, she's putting her outside. She has always been an inside cat, she hates the cold and she's scared easily. There are many wild animals that have killed previous cats around there so she cant he outside. No one else will take her and i really dont want her taken to a shelter.
I dont want to hide an amimal and get evicted but in the same sense, the landlords have refused to fix our thermostat that affects our heat. The front door that THEY broke, and multiple other things they refused to do that's their job. Anyways, we just had to bury our daughter and i've been extremely depressed and animals have always helped me as I stated before. Would it be a good idea to hide her if i just take care of everything like i do anyways?
EDIT: for those saying to register her as a therepy cat, if i do this, will they be allowed to evict us once our lease is up because of this?
