On October 11th I went in for my 26 weeks appointment. I had some headaches and really bad swelling, so I decided I would talk to my doctor at my appointment. Unfortunately I didn't have my regular doctor do to her being out of town that week so I had a different doctor when I got there they weighed me twice due to me gaining over 15 pounds in less then 4 weeks, took my blood pressure about 7 times.... then the doctor I've never seen before came in looked at me and said "you don't look very good" then he took my blood pressure about 6 more times then told me he was sending me to Labor and Delivery and that my baby would be here in the next couple days due to me having SERVER preeclampsia. Unfortunately the hospital I was at didn't take and baby's under 28 weeks so I had to get transported to a different hospital where I would have my beautiful baby girl via emergency c-section. She was born weighing 1 pound 6 oz but she is now almost 2 months old weighing 2 pounds 13oz and is off oxygen and doing great. I couldn't ask for a better nicu team and I'm so glad she is doing so good
