My boyfriend is terrified

Recently my boyfriend and I have almost stopped having sex because he is so terrified that I will get pregnant. I'm on the pill and we use condoms every time but he doesn't seem to understand that the possibility of it happening is pretty low. He also makes me buy the ECP everytime he thinks something's gone wrong which is getting extremely costly. I'm not sure how to approach him about this anymore? Any advice?
