help bf birthday dinner

Hi its my bfs birthday tomorrow! We are long distance and i flying to see him for the week. I want to take him outbfor dinner and pay. Well heres the dilemma hes cheaping out on me and doesnt want to go somewhere nice because i insisted im paying. We havent seen each other in 2 months so i figure a $60--80 meal is okay because 1. its his birthday. 2. We havent been on too many dates. How do i suggest we go somewhere nicer? Ik he loves steak and would want to go to a stealhouse but doesnt want me to pay. I want him to be happy tho!
