this girl is nuts. 🙄 need to rant sorry.
My boyfriend has a child from the relationship he had before me, and she doesn't allow him to see his child although he texts her daily asking. We've been together for 4 years now and I still have not met him, well our businesses we started together are just now taking off and we FINALLY have the money to get his child support caught up, and get an attorney. So he called a few weeks ago to ask her to see him for his 6th birthday (mostly trying to avoid courts as much as we can for the child's sake) and she went on to explain how "her and her boyfriend are getting married now, and he should sign over his rights because he wasn't around, and he's a deadbeat". Yet my boyfriend used to do whatever he could for his kid and she got a new boyfriend and refused visitation and filed for child support. Then last night they called him and argued with him for over an hour saying "you can see him, you just can't tell him that you're his biological father".. I'm just really confused why this girl is so stupid. I feel bad for this kid because of the woman that's raising him. 😒I wouldn't keep my kid away from his biological father. 🙄
UPDATE: to the wonderful lady that said "I'm not sure why your bf let this go on so long" we didn't have the money to do anything about it. The child has only really known her current fiancé his whole life because she won't let my bf around his son. And the courts might have an effect, because I personally remember being in the courts when my step dad adopted me at the age of 3 years old. We thought maybe she had matured throughout the years and we could civilly figure out a custody agreement and visitation rights like adults and then just get it court ordered. It would end up saving all of us a lot of money. That being said now this poor 6 year old child is going to have to re-learn who his daddy is, and that his mommy and step daddy have been lying to him for as long as he can remember.
