IUD???

So I hate the pill. It just drives me crazy, & I hate remembering having to take it. My mom said I could get the iud but does it hurt?? Is it worth it??

My insertion was more uncomfortable than painful. I was 20, no children and have a retroverted uterus. I had no painkillers before or during my insertion either.

You can take ibuprofen before your insertion though.

In my opinion, it is definitely worth it. The procedure is about 10-15 minutes, the insertion itself being about 10 seconds, and the device lasts (depending which you get) between 3-12 years.

I have the Paragard iud which has no hormones. It's wonderful! I was sore for maybe 2 days after getting it, but a heating pad and ibuprofen helped tremendously! I would highly recommend it. I hated the pill, and this has been a great choice! I've had it for almost 2 years with no problems since I got it, and no pregnancies!

Noooo dont do it!!! Use lamb skin condoms!!!! :-) They're expensive but you can buy a large box on Amazon now for a better price!
