We're gonna get our children's godfather something for christmas but we don't know what 
Any ideas?

Answer

You're asking such an open ended question for something that is very personal. Get him something he likes... does he have a hobby? A favorite sports team? Does he love being a godfather and would he maybe love something with your baby on it (a mug? Etc). That's not an easy question to ask people to answer who don't know you or this person.
