frustrated!!!

My hubby and I have been ttc for exact a year. Every time I test i break down at it saying bfn. I would love to have a Christmas miracleand to be able to tell my hubby as a gift but I'm sure when I test I'll get another negative. Af is due next Tuesday but now I'm feeling a little cramping and very low tenderness in my breast. What do you think should I test or wait? I feel like I'm starting to Lose my mind worrying.
