Should I be annoyed that my boss repeatedly refers to my daughter by the wrong name?

Question

So my DD is two years old, her name is Julia, and every time my boss asks after her he says "how's Jessica?". To which I reply, every time, "it's Julia, she's fine thank you". 
I'm starting to feel like he's doing it on purpose. I'd rather him just say "how's the little one" or something, than get her name wrong, or if he's THAT interested (enough to not remember her name!) Then simply don't ask! Am I wrong?

If I were in your position I'd be petty and call him by the wron  name everytime he asks
Say his name is Mark
He says: "How's Jennifer doing?"
You say: "She's fine Mario, thanks for asking!"

Just make a joke and be like haha yea it's weird how you get her name wrong every time.  If he continues then he really just doesn't care about you or your kid, he's probably just making small talk. If so just shrug it off, and don't ask about his kids or his life

Honestly my boss will do this and it's not that he doesn't care, but they aren't part of his day to day life, he has a ton of things on his plate (we have 7 offices and he has a law office as well).

I know my boss has 3 kids, but I don't always remember the 1st daughters name.

That would annoy me too. I would just shortly say "Julia is fine" with emphasis on the Julia.

No. I have a horrible time remembering people's names much less remembering ones I don't see every day. I used to get super pissed no one even spelled my 5 year olds name right. GrEyson, not GrAyson... He has an E. People still do it. Whether they mean to or not, I've realized it isn't that serious and they probably don't even realize.

Maybe next time he asks tell him shes having trouble getting used to her new name... it was Julia but you got sick of correcting people so you changed it to Jessica. Then laugh but give him stern eyes so he knows you're not playin lol
