husband has FLU , I think may of caught it?!

Question

Husband been coughing and spluttering next to me all last evening and in the night lots sneezing to came in very sudden. He has flu Iv not yet had the flu jab and I feel I bit foggy headed and muscusy this morning and been sick. Can anyone advise I'm 16 weeks 1 day today and panicking I'm going to lose my baby as haven't felt movents much today or yesterday but the heartbeat was found yesterday. I feel like I have a temp coming and I suffer anxiety so nothing calming me down , everything I read says end of the game for me or baby or both 😞 I can't get in to see a dr but been offered to sit and wait for a flu jab today but read again takes 2 weeks to help a ammunition anyway ?! 
What should I do or expect 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😩😩😩😩

Was your hubby diagnosed with the flu? Flu symptoms usually don't start slow. They come sudden and with a high fever.
If he does and you were exposed to it, there isn't much that can be done now other than contacting your doctor and following their instructions. It's true that flu can potentially be dangerous for pregnant women but not all women who get the flu would get the severe complications especially with early treatment. Good luck!

Oh calm down and relax. Don't believe everyrhing you read on Google lol your baby is going to be fine. I was just in the hospital myself for bronchitis I'm 19 weeks with my 6th child and the flu or a cold isn't going to make you lose your baby. Don't get yourself all worked up its really nothing to worry about. Sounds like you're a first time mom so I will advise you that it's not safe to take anything over the counter for colds. Just make sure you're getting your rest and staying hydrated. I hope you and hubby start feeling better soon ❤

I had the flu while pregnant and felt terrible, like somehow I was a bad mother for letting myself get sick-  I caught it from my nephew when I went to visit for Easter. The doctor prescribed Tamiflu and I had to take tylenol to get my fever down. Everything worked out fine! My baby is almost 5 months old and perfectly healthy. I would suggest you expect the best and get to a doctor - I went to an urgent care. Early treatment of the flu is important for pregnant women because your immune system is suppressed and you don't want it to progress to pneumonia.

Iv been poorly literally since I conceived since pregnancy lowers your immune system and my babys fine my midwife said only to really worry if i get a really high fever i would still get your flu jab as soon as possible
