I think it would really depend on your family history. We thought about both sides of it and found that I our families are genetically pretty good, especially in the kids. So, we have decided that for us delayed cord clamping is more beneficial than banking the blood.

We did here in Canada because we have a family history of auto immune disorders and stem cells may one day help. I don't know how India's practices differ from ours though.

I personally think it is a waste of money, but should I find myself in the situation to need it, I may think differently. I'm not sure how the process works in India or how expensive it is?
