IUD and poking my Bf

So I just got an skyla IUD Friday morning, and my boyfriend and I just tried to have sex and he said it was not pleasurable because it's poking him at the top. He stopped.  He didn't want to continue. So he fingered me and he didn't feel anything. Which is surprising because he has really long fingers and he can reach my cervix but didn't feel anything.  Idk what to do. :(
