Anyone on progesterone or was on it and stopped at 12 weeks? If so, what was your experience?

I took progesterone with my first and found out a few hrs ago that I'm pregnant with 2nd. I'm taking progesterone again. My body basically makes little to no progesterone, so I have to start taking it before I even become pregnant. So I was terrified to come off of it with our little man. It's totally safe though! The progesterone isn't up to u after 12 weeks, it's made by the placenta then because it is fully formed and already taking care of baby. :) I think I used mine until it ran out, so 13 weeks. He is one and half in a few weeks. 👶🏼

I did ivf with a frozen transfer so my body made none of its own progesterone before the placenta took over. I stopped at 10 weeks and was using a 2cc injection of progesterone everyday. I had no real side effects other than a sore butt from the needles

I did vaginal progesterone my first pregnancy and stopped at 12 weeks. Everything was fine. I'm now 26 weeks pregnant and my doctor told me I didn't need it with this one but used them occasionally in the first trimester.

I stopped at 14 weeks. I was scared to stop, but the doctor told me it wasn't necessary to take them anymore so I stopped cold turkey. Baby keep cooking without issue :)

I stopped at the 11 weeks i was on injects till 7 weeks then suppositories due to a very big deficiency. All was fine when i stopped

Just here to see responses. I'm 13+2 and I have a little over a week left on progesterone. Scared to stop.
