HUGE BABY... stories?

My baby is measuring BIG BIG BIG! Every measurement was in the 90Th percentile or above in the growth scan...

Do any of you ladies have successful birth stories delivering a large baby vaginally?

I would love to hear your encouragement!

I delivered a 10lb 13 0z boy naturally with only gas and air, there was never any indication that he would be so big. Due to him being big I had growth scans when expecting my daughter and they were indicating that she was measuring off the scale and would be approx. 12lbs at birth. She was born 6 days early weighing 7lb 7oz so the scans were way off. Try not to worry too much the scans aren't very accurate and delivering a bigger baby isn't that bad if they do happen to be correct x

I had an all natural birth with my son. He weighed 9lbs 12oz and honestly it helped with pushing. I got 10 stitches but honestly wasn't bad.

US are often wrong. They said baby was 37%, yep, born less than week later at 3%....34% is a big difference

All natural birth, 14 hours of labor that I went into on my own at 40+4 weeks. Pushed for 20 minutes, 2nd degree tear but I had no idea I tore and didn't even feel it when I got stitched up. Both of my midwives told me he'd be no bigger than 7 lbs. I'm tall but very slender and I had no problem pushing him out. It was when my midwife held him up that everyone in the room was quiet because he was so big lol

My mom had a vaginally delivery for my brother who was over 10 lbs. Not only that, but he was also a VBAC... She might be superwoman.
