Car seat vent

My car seat will only fit in my car if it's behind the passenger seat with the seat all the way pulled forward and the back leaned forward. I'm so mad my car has car seat anchors and my car seat is normal sized so it's stupid for it to not fit. I still owe 3 more years on it and definitely can't afford a diffrent vehicle right now. It's stupid that If my bf and I need to go somewhere one of us will have to sit in the back seat. I fell in love with the cars looks and didn't think about its functionality when I purchased it a year and a half ago I feel dumb.
