4cm active labor?

Question

I always thought 4 cm meant active labor. I was checked Monday and I was 4cm and 80% effaced. Still barely having contractions. Been losing my mucus plug like crazy. And I've been doing lunges, squats, walking stairs, and started bouncing on the edge of my bed. I have to be close to something right?!

I've been 4cm 50% since Monday and I'm still pregnant lol. I was having contractions but they weren't changing my cervix

I was 5cm and 95% effaced for a week before I had my daughter! I never felt a single contraction until I was actually at the hospital. Look at it this way... that's 4 less cm you'll actually have to go and feel something! When I walked in a week later, the doctor asked me why in the world I was still pregnant. I went home and ran up and down the stairs and then went into labor several hours later. Had her in 3 hours.

Not active labor till contractions are closer together... I was struck at a 3cm 80% with my first for two days before labor really kicked it and they wounder admit me till I was a 4.5cm and progressing it sucked

Nothing is active labor unless you have contractions that are progressing you.
