5'3 and wears a 13 Jean ... Is this bad??

Hi I'm 19 & 5'3 height wise & am currently wearing a size 13, am I overweight for my height and is this bad? ... This is a serious question ...

I'm 5'4 and wear a size 10/12 @172 pounds. Weight and pant size mean nothing in comparison. Everyone carries their weight differently and every clothing company's sizes aren't the same. Just be happy in the skin you're in and if you're not, do something about it.

Clothes size doesn't mean anything. I'm not very overweight, like 25 lbs and I wear a size 16 in pants. My SIL who is 8 inches shorter than me also wears a 16, and she's morbidly obese. BMI doesn't define health either, everyone carries weight differently and if you have a large amount of muscle you'll weigh more.

None of us can know this. Everyone carries weight differently, plus we don't know how much of that is muscle.

My doc once told me I should lose weight because I'm considered obese for my height. I'm 5'3 and I weigh 147 now. At the time I was 160. I didn't see anything wrong with my weight but he says that it's too much for me to carry around. I think yo size is good, if you are comfortable with your self. I lost weight because I started to feel icky with my self because that was the most I've weighed. I went back to him (weighing what I weigh now) and he said I should be between 120-135.

Do you feel fat? Do you feel over weight? Body image is something many people struggle with...almost every woman I know, at some point or another has struggled with it.  It doesn't much matter what we think, what matters is how you feel about you.  If you don't like something, fix it, little things will make a big difference :)
