How do i ask him to be my boyfriend?

So I met this guy a while ago and he's everything I've ever wanted in a partner. He's nerdy, he's funny, a bit childish, we talk for hours with no problem, he doesn't mind that I have a son from a previous relationship (in fact he really likes my son), and he would make an amazing father (helped raise his nephew). I want him to be my boyfriend. I really need to be more than just friends or whatever we are. His kisses are intoxicating and when he touches me when we're kissing my entire body catches fire!!!
