Sad about not having a traditional wedding...

I got married through proxy. (Proxy means when a military couple can't attend their own wedding.) It was all a rush because military reasons. We did try to plan one but it always would be way too last minute if we did have one. But anyways I've always dreamed of having a super simple wedding. I've always wanted wild flowers to decorate for a small ceremony. With just immediate family members. I even bought a simple white dress to wear if we did have one (sadly I never got to wear it for a traditional wedding). It makes me sad to see such beautiful weddings and seeing brides in their beautiful gowns. When I never got that opertunity. Don't get me wrong I am happy for every couple that gets married in the traditional way. It's just I feel emotional for never getting the chance to have that.
