6 days late..... could it be?

Ok, so I am 38, still no babies of my own. I want one desperately!! I am always on time and know this because I haven't not started the day this app said I will start in 3 years I've been using it. Well I am now 6 days late on my period!! I took a test 3 days ago and it was Negative, sigh. I am scared to take another one because I don't want to see another negative result!!! I have been under a ton of stress lately, but that is usual for me, especially this time of year.

So what do you all think, prego or no go?
